The WJA Academy is based at the National Judo Centre, Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The purpose built dojo is a state of the art facility to and offers promising athletes full-time tutorage. 18:00 - 20:00 'Ne-Waza' Randori with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team at Pontcanna Dojo (Craig Ewers/ Tom Hughes) All senior practices are Open and aimed at players min age 16+ and brown belt grade; unless invitation from one of the performance coaches. All cadet practices are Open to all pre-cadet and cadet players with previous experience minimum grade orange belt or by invitation from a performance coach. Further technical sessions and Strength & Conditioning sessions are run in the daytime throughout the week, these are designated for high perfomance players or by invitiation from the National Coach and Performance Director, those to which is concerns are kept up to date with weekly schedules on E-Mail. National Open Squad Session Dates for 2012. We have done our best to place these sessions around the major international and domestic tournaments, please understand there may be dates which conflict with these events. All sessions are open to all WJA and BJA Members. (Seniors/Junior are advised to be blue belt and above)
