Attached is the order form for our optional team suits. This is your opportunity to purchase a competition suit @ affordable price prior to the swim season. Competitive suits are NOT required.
Sample suits available for try on @ Parent Meet & Greet (registration) on Mon, May 7@ 6:00 - Lincoln Elem.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please look on the Speedo website for suit measurements and measure your child to determine his/her size. Only one order will be placed for suits through the WRC. After the meeting, you will have to purchase it at full retail price.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS. We are not a retail store. If you order the wrong size, the WRC cannot afford to eat the cost of the suit. You can try to re-sell it to another swimmer, but there are no guarantees. PLEASE - order your suit with care!

PERSONALIZED TEAM CAPS! 2 personalized / $15.00 or 1 plain / $7.00
We do ask that all swimmers wear team caps so that our coaches (and other cheering members) will know when our teammates are in the water.
Personalized caps are only ordered every other year. If you want your child's name on their cap (or last name, nickname, whatever), please pre-order them now, before or at the parent meeting. All personalized caps must be ordered in pairs. (Which isn't a bad thing...everyone needs a backup cap!)
We will order a few generic team caps, but please do not rely on this.

The swim team board is busy at work gearing up for our 2012 swim season! The stroke clinic has gotten us all EXCITED for this summer! Our first parent meeting/registration and HOT DOG SOCIAL is quickly approaching!
When? Monday, May 7th @ 6:00pm
Where? Lincoln Elementary Gymnasium
Learn about our team competition schedule, see our new suits & cap design, and about our team fundraiser! Meet our new coaches!! :)
Parents, bring your swimmers! We will have sample team suits for them to try on for ordering! GREAT prices on suits this year!!!
We'll also be ordering PERSONALIZED CAPS. This will be the ONLY opportunity you will have to order personalized team caps. We have to order caps in groups of 100 or more. Once they go to print, no changes can be made. We need at least 3-4 weeks to get our caps back before our first meet! If you cannot make it to the meeting, please email wellingtonswimteam@gmail.com BEFORE the meeting to make arrangements. Thank you!
BRING FRIENDS!!! The more our team grows, the more competitive we are! Encourage everyone you know to get involved! It's FUN and great for their health!

Congratulations Sailfish!! Tonight, we made swim team history vs. Twin Rivers Swim Club. Final score will be announced tomorrow at practice, but it was CLOSE!!! You all did a great job this evening. We're VERY proud of all our swimmers!
Thank you parents for stepping up to the plate and helping make this meet a success! We know how much work it takes to run a meet and some of our new parents are learning very quickly. It's hard work, but very rewarding for our swimmers in the end.
Donuts and free time in the morning! WOOHOO!!! Way to go Wellington!

It's almost time for swim team to be in full gear!
Here's what's going on:
5/21 - 4-5:30p - Last Stroke Refinement Clinic at Southwestern in Winfield
5/23 - 6:00p - Parent Meeting Q&A - Wellington Aquatic Center - MUST REGISTER TO SWIM! Hot dogs will be served.
5/25 - 8:00a - First season a.m. practice - Wellington Aquatic Center
6/4 - 8:30a - IntraSquad Meet - Wellington Aquatic Center - BBQ to follow
6/7 - 6:00p - First Home Meet vs. Twin Rivers!
The WRC is asking that all parents RSVP to WellingtonSwimTeam@gmail.com if you're attending the parent meeting on the 23rd so that we will know how many lifeguards need to be on duty. Please do not forget that we cannot order team suits after the meeting! If you cannot make it, stop by the WRC to try on the sample suits and place your order with them. Also, free swim during the meeting for registered swimmers! Missouri Valley insurance fees must be paid in order to enter the water that night! If you qualify for free and reduced lunches, qualifying form must be presented to Lynne Lawrence or Kim Langford that night for reduced fees. If you have questions, please contact us prior to the meeting on the 23rd.
Please help us spread the word so that all interested families can attend the parent meeting! We really need to build our team!!! The more swimmers, the more points our team earns and the better chance we have of having a victorious summer! :) Encourage friends/family/neighbors to join the team!

If your swimmer qualifies for Free or Reduced Lunches program at school, MUST provide a copy of form to receive reduced MV Fees at the meeting. If you do not have a copy of your form, you need to contact Peggy Lawrence at Washington Elementary to obtain a copy. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Payment MUST be received before order is placed. Mail or
drop off payment at the Bonham residence (823 S. Washington). If no one is
home, put payment in mail slot on front porch. Be sure to put your order
information along with your payment if you drop it off and we're not home
please.
We are receiving a $1.50 discount on the personalization by ordering before
the end of April. The deadline cannot be extended! Also, caps can take up to 6
weeks to come in. We want them here for our first meet!

"Test the Waters" - Stroke Refinement Course
Due to issues with the Winfield pool, we will NOT be having practice this Saturday (April 9th).
The corrected practice dates are as followed:
April 16th & 30th - 12:30-2:00p
May 7th & 14th - 12:30-2:00p
May 21st - 4:00-5:30p
NO practice on the April 9th or 23rd.
If you know of anyone who does not regularly check their emails or our team website, please share the updated schedule.
