The Friends is a charitable organisation that supports the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of Christ Church Wellington Heath. The organisation is made up of villagers who do not necessarily attend church services but wish to ensure that the church remains as a focal point for the village. The Friends support the PCC by helping to maintain the fabric of the church.

The ‘Friends’ organised an open weekend in 2009 and raised £1000 towards the upkeep of the church. Easter 2011 celebrations included tableaux of the Easter story. We wish to endeavour to raise awareness of the value of our village church and cemetery. Christ Church is very warm and welcoming and is a place for peace and quiet reflection as well as religious services. Both the church and the cemetery are places to reflect, be still, or just admire the views. The cemetery is also a haven for local flora and fauna.
