Emrich has a large garden devoted to growing fresh, sustainably, healthy food. In 2009 and 2010, this garden was created and maintained in partnership with St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brighton. In 2011, Emrich's garden is separate from St. Paul's G3 program. In our garden, you will see strawberries, eggplants, corn, cucumbers, and many more vegetables. You're welcome to walk through the garden - paths between raised beds make it easy! If you'd like to help with caring for the garden, please check with Shari first. Produce from the garden is featured on Emrich's menu and goes to Gleaner's Food Bank for those in need. Our goal for 2011 is to raise 3,500 pounds of produce! |
