Welcome to Yujie’s website. I am now a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Solid Mechanics Group at Brown University, working with professor Huajian Gao and professor Allan Bower on Grain boundary deformation in nanostructured materials, e.g., thin films and nanocrystalline materials. I have worked with professor Lallit Anand on nanocrystalline materials and completed my PhD dissertation on this topic at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My master thesis is on catastrophic rupture of brittle materials, done under the advising of professor Yilong Bai in the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I got my Bachelor's degree at Peking University.
