The Westfield in Bloom Heritage Committee is seeking volunteers to serve as Tour Guides for the 1st annual Voices from the Past Heritage Walk. This event will allow attendees to travel through the Anti-Slavery Cemetery at Asa Bales Park, Hadley Park, and Old Friends Cemetery Park to hear first person narratives from the perspective of some of Westfield’s historic citizens. We are seeking individuals to lead the tour groups and speak about other historic points of interest along the route. Tours will last 1.5 hours, with approximately 35 minutes of walking. Guides will be required to attend one of two orientation dates, a dress rehearsal, and lead one or two tours the night of the event. All proceeds will benefit the Westfield Washington Historical Society Museum and the Westfield Playhouse. Please contact us for more information:
