On 10/30/11 the Westfield Police Department investigated several incidents of thefts from vehicles. The incidents were investigated under WPD Incident Reports #11-003050, 11-003051, 11-003052, 11-003057, 11-003058, 11-003059, and 11-003056. During the late night / early morning hours (MID.-9A) several unlocked vehicles were entered and items stolen, in the area of White Willow Drive, Cross Creek Circle, Trillium Ct, and Azelea Ct. At approx. 1:52AM, an unknown, suspect (no description) was seen entering a vehicle on White Willow Drive. The suspect fled the area and was not located. Items including a back-pack type book bag were discovered in the area. During the afternoon and evening hours (2P-9P) forced entry was made to locked vehicles, by breaking a window of the target vehicles. The incidents occurred in the area of Barnes and Noble, Village Park 17 Cinema, and Comfort Suites. Items stolen include a GPS units and an I-Pod.
