Here are a few things to consider with the upcoming accumulation of snow. The snow banks are probably going to get high, and the streets are going to be harder to clear, as it is now harder to move the snow with the piles.
1) Parked Cars - Please remove any parked cars on the streets. Let's give the plows room to work, and clear out as much of our streets as possible.
2) Sidewalks - Children and neighbors still need to get around this week. Let's try and clear the sidewalks after the snow stops.
3) Fire Hydrants - When the snow piles around the hydrants, it gets harder for firefighters to get the hoses to them and connected. Let's help the Fire Department and our neighbors. A clear hydrant can help save lives and property. |
