The Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation District is offering two different award programs to recognize landowners who are practicing conservation on their properties. The Backyard Conservation Annual Award Program (description & application attached) will recognize homeowners, homeowner associations, non-profit groups, small businesses, and commercial/industrial companies who are utilizing backyard conservation practices to improve soil & water quality & enhance wildlife habitat. Our Award Program for Excellence in Conservation Land Development aims to reward land developers who are doing their jobs with a special emphasis on environmental sustainability.
