Information on the 2011 Backyard Conservation Annual Awards Program will be released in the next few months.  There will be five categories in which landowners may apply: single family residence, homeowner association, non-profit organization, small business, and commercial/industrial.  Applications will be due in October, but don’t wait until then - you can start planning ways to improve your backyard now!  For more information on the awards program, or for help planning and implementing Backyard Conservation practices on your property, contact the SWCD at (317) 773-2181 or visit www.hamiltonswcd.org.
