PERSONAL DATA: Born 1969. Married with children. He enjoys bicycling, skiing, skydiving, SCUBA diving, motorcycling, automobile racing, rock climbing, kayaking, camping, hiking, and photography.
 
EDUCATION: Associate's degree in physics/organic chemistry from Treasure Valley Community College; Bachelor's degree in Geography and Military Science from Oregon State University; Master's degree, with honors, in Space Systems Operations Management with emphasis in Acquisitions and Program Management from Webster University, Colorado Springs Metro Campus.  Doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Management in Global Leadership program at Colorado Technical University’s Institute for Advanced Studies.

EXPERIENCE: 20+ years in the U.S. Army as both a non-commissioned officer and officer.  Currently works for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT).  Serves as the Program Manager for a five year, $200M Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Operations Center (WSOC) modernization program.  Projects include building, testing, and ultimately operating from four new WSOC’s around the globe.  Direct, recurring experience in creating briefing materials and briefing general officers, senior executive service, and congressional personnel.  Write, staff, and brief such products as operations orders, white papers, executive summaries, briefing charts, and even protocol-related events.  Holds an active Top Secret / Special Compartmented Information clearance.

WEBSTER INFLUENCE: Sean joined Webster’s Space Systems Operations Management program in 2008 and graduated with honors in 2010.  He particularly enjoyed courses such as Space Systems Project Management, Space Systems Law and Policy, Orbit Mechanics, and Advanced Orbit Design, and these courses continue to provide positive influence in his career. The in-class interaction and local classes were the primary factors in choosing Webster to pursue a Master’s degree.
