This week's challenge can be very addicting. It is a simple program called Wordle that produces "word clouds" from the text you select. These "word clouds" create an artful representation of the written word and highlight the words most frequently used. You can use it to analyze a speech or written article. It can be used as a form of poetry to share valuable thoughts. Students own writing can be analyzed and much more.
I will be drawing a winner from all of the entries on October 28.
Check out our growing Wordle Gallery! Here are a few examples to get your creative juices flowing.
McCain's speech at the Replublican National Convention. I created this by pasting the text from the speech into the Wordle Text box.
