Congratulations to Nikki Klinger for being our first winner. Her name was drawn from all of the great blog entries. She has won a Google Flash Drive. Our first Web 2.0 Wednesday Challenge is to create your own blog. This challenge will get you into the world of Web 2.0 and also give you a place on the Web to share your work on the other challenges. If you can use Word, you can create a blog. It is that easy. Blogs can be used in a number of different ways. You can use a blog as a professional journal, a place to share activities happening in class. You can pose questions to your students and students can comment. The ideas are limitless. Blogs don't have to be for professional purposes. You can use a blog to share family news, write a travel journal or write about a hobby. There are many different blogging tools that you can use. Some are set up specifically for teachers to use with students. Resources for different blogging programs are listed below. I am going to share how to create a blog with Google Blogger. Blogger is free, easily accessible and easy to use. For this challenge, you may create a Blog using Blogger or any other blogging program. Once you have created your blog, send a link a link by filling out the form below. All blogs will be posted and shared. Remember, a blog is a work in progress. Please share your start.
