For seven years I was Managing Editor of the internationally acclaimed news magazine, CSIRO/CRCSS Space Industry News (ISSN 1329-4857). I wrote hundreds of feature and news articles (many of which were reprinted in national and international media). 

I also edited all COSSA (CSIRO Office of Space Science and Applications) 1996-1998, and all CRCSS (Cooperative Research Centre for Satellite System) publications (1999-2003) including the Annual Report series.

I am highly experienced at producing to strict regular deadlines a stylish magazine filled with engaging articles. I commissioned material from freelance writers, edited, designed and produced the entire publication. I am a meticulous but efficient editor and proof reader, with an excellent eye for detail and style. 

I have taught editing and writing at universities in Australia and China. 

I have managed my own international web-based editing business since 2002, once including fastediting.com, with numerous international clients. 

In addition to general copy editing services, I also provide a pre-submisison editing service for formal scientific research papers (any field) including those written by non-native speakers of English.
