If you have not registered to date please call 800-770-7992 for room availability Monday – Thursday nights and tell them you are with the WDA. Currently, the resort is sold out on Sunday (Aug. 2nd). The resort has rooms left for the rest of the week however, we are anticipating occupying every room. If rooms sell out before you register you will want to leave your name with the hotel in the event of cancellations. You can also contact Jordan Mencher at jmencher@u.washington.edu to request a room share with another conference attendee registered at the hotel. Please leave your name with the resort staff in the event of cancellations. There are several options depending on your flexibility. Alternatively, there a number of hotels within driving distance at this link.
Birch Bay is about 15 minutes away; options there include the Birch Bay Hostel (www.birchbayhostel.org), with private double and family rooms with private baths and all linens/towels provided and the Birch Bay Getaway (www.birchbaygetaway.com), providing cottages housing 2-6 people. Both are reasonably priced.
In addition there are a number of other chain hotels (e.g. Comfort Inn, Travelodge, etc) and a couple more B&Bs in Bellingham, all about 25 miles from Semiahmoo.
Lodging at the Semiahmoo Resort affords comfortable and spacious accomodations including rooms witha Classic King bed or Classic Double Queen beds. Waterview Executive Suites are also avilable.   The number for Semiahmoo Reservations is 800-770-7992. |
