On 28th October 2010 Wiltshire Council made order Number 18 2010 which, if confirmed, will create additional public footpaths to those already in force on Brynards Hill. Representations or objections on this may be made to Sally Madgwick, Rights of Way Officer until 10th Dec 2010. Both Wainhomes and Bradleys, have made submissions disputing that there is a case for these footpaths because of the intermittent use of electric fences. Readers can make up there own mind as to whether electric fences are typically used by farmers to control the movement of sheep or people. A map of the 3 proposed new footpaths can be viewed or downloaded below. |
