The following are the terms and conditions for renting the Waypoint Guest House. Please read carefully. When you book with us, it is understood that you have read and agree with these terms.Number of Guests
The Waypoint Guest House accommodates up to four* people:
*We could also accommodate 2 more people on a double futon that can be set up in the living room area. The Waypoint Guest House is non-smoking and we do not allow pets.
What to Bring
The Waypoint Guest House has a bar fridge, BBQ, and a microwave. We also provide bedding. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, please bring the following:
There is a grocery store within walking distance, as well as restaurants, hardware store, Beer Store (one block over) and LCBO (across the street). In case of a rainy day, we have a DVD and VHS player, along with some movies (VHS – mostly kid’s movies). Feel free to bring your own!
Rates
Rate is based on 2 people per night: $75/night
For each additional person: For example, 2 adults ($75) and 2 children or adults (2 x $10 = $20) would be $95/night. At this time, we do not offer a weekly rate. Deposit
To hold your preferred dates, we request a deposit of 20% of your total (including taxes). We ask that you use PayPal to make your deposit. This way, we will have confirmation and we can also refund if you need to cancel (please see Cancellations, below).
For example, 2 adults for 2 nights = $150 x 20% = $30 deposit. The balanced of $120 would be due upon check-in. Please see the calculator if you need help to calculate your deposit. Booking
All bookings are a 2 night minimum. We have an on-line calendar that is regularly updated so that you can see what’s available. Once we have your deposit, we will mark your requested dates as “booked”. Payment Options
Payment of the balance owing is cash-only at check-in. However, you can use PayPal if you wish to pre-pay in full at time of booking. Cancellation For a full refund of your deposit, please let us know 48 hours in advance. We can refund your deposit via PayPal. Check In/Check Out Times
Check In: Guests are welcome to arrive at 2pm. Depending on availability it may be possible to arrive earlier. If you wish to check in earlier, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Check Out: Guests are asked to check-out by 11am. This allows us to prepare for our next guests. You are most welcome to park on the street if you wish to stay in Port Dover for the day (an extra day at the beach!). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. |
