WatSat

WatSat, an exciting new engineering team at the University of Waterloo, offers students the opportunity of working on genuinely space-worthy hardware.

An affiliate of the Waterloo Space Society, WatSat has entered the inaugural Canadian Satellite Design Challenge. The competition, which began in September 2010 and ends in October 2012 will have students design and construct a low-cost microsatellite primarily from commercial, off-the-shelf components. The prize is to have the winner's satellite launched.

To that end, WatSat is seeking the help of any and all interested Waterloo students both at the graduate and undergraduate levels to help contribute to a project out of this world.

The competition launched September 2010. Email info.WatSat@gmail.com, and join today!
