For the 1st phase, we plan to install routers along the Cherokee St. corridor, roughly from Compton to Jefferson, as illustrated below. (Click on the image for a larger version.)

In the diagram above, the green circles represent routers, the red circles represent routers connected to DSL connections, and the dotted green lines repeat long-distance antennae linking routers that sit too far outside the mesh to connect on their own.  (See the Technology page for more info.)

Once the mesh is in place, it may be extended simply by adding new routers.  No need for wires!

This diagram is tentative (and it could cover a much large area), as we only plan to initially install routers where confirmed subscribers live to economize on equipment costs.

We are targeting 100-200 initial subscribers.
