We are organizing the following social activities for Friday afternoon (choose one): Golf Outing ($125) Our golf outing will be held at Little Mountain Country Club, one of only 17 public courses given five stars by Golf Digest, and the only one in Ohio. The outing will include 18 holes & cart, dinner buffet, and transportation to and from the event. Club rental is available for an additional $25 (please contact Little Mountain prior to arrival for club rental). This event must be purchased at the time of registration. Fly-fishing ($125) Our fly-fishing outing will be at Rockwell Springs Trout Club, one of the first clubs in Northeastern Ohio. The outing will include transportation, catch-and-release fishing, and dinner. Equipment rental is available at the club for an additional $15. This outing will be limited to the first 30 registered participants. This event must be purchased at the time of registration. Trail Running with Dr. Andrish (estimated $0) Spend an afternoon experiencing the treasure that is the Cuyahoga Valley National Park by running the trails up and down and through this spectacular resource. THIS IS NOT A RACE. It will be an adventure. Bring your trail shoes if you have them. If the only shoes you have are road shoes, that is OK too, but “pick up your feet!” There will be roots and a few rocks. But the views and venue will be worth it. Also, there are no “aid stations” so bring a water bottle or some form of hydration pack. The pace will be determined by the slowest runner (me!). Unless, of course, we have a good turn out of “fast guys and gals” and then I will be happy to arrange for “fast group” and “slow group” alternatives. Night at the Ballpark ($110) Watch the Indians take on the New York Yankees from the best seats in the house (7PM), with a fireworks show immediately following. Estimated costs include club seats at the game, transportation, food (“action stations” where the chefs prepare entrees in front of the guests) and beverage (non-alcoholic).
