 Walton Blind Society (Registered Charity No. 1052479) was founded in 1976 to provide an opportunity for registered blind and partially sighted people of all ages to meet socially. We are open to people living in Walton-on-Thames and Hersham in Surrey.
We get together twice each month and some also
meet on alternate weeks for craft sessions.
We try to arrange seven or eight outings each year. These include coach tours, meals out and
occasional trips to the theatre, or perhaps a river trip. During the summer members with their guides have
the opportunity to enjoy a holiday together on the coast. (See this year's programme.)
