I know that the site URL(web address) is a bit long. So I just type in http://tinyurl.com/walnutmath instead. Tinyurl.com will take a long URL and shorten it.

Welcome Video

It's a common practice on "new" websites to use a video explaining what the site is about or offers.  I made my video with Apple's Keynote software from the iWork Suite.  The song and fractal video is from YouTube.  I downloaded the video with TubeTV and incorporated the music and video into my Keynote presentation.

IP Address

Notice the IP address gadget on the main page?  Your IP address is like your internet PO box; accessible by every computer on the internet. That address is given to you by your internet service provider (ISP) and that address may change (dynamic) or stay the same (static).

Google Video Problems in the Lab

If you are trying to watch a lesson or solutions video in the computer lab and are having a hard time getting the video to work, do the following:
  1. Look for the Download video - iPod/PSP  link
  2. Click it.  The video will download to your computer.
  3. When it is done downloading, the video will open with QuickTime Player.
These QuickTime videos appear to be higher quality than the Flash video that appears in the browser.
Remember, the network may get slow, so please be patient as the video downloads.
