Sebastian Wai

I am an assistant professor of economics at the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota. My teaching typically includes introductory economics, Managerial Economics in the MBA program, and upper-level undergraduate courses such as Industrial Organization and business analytics. I previously spent two years as visiting faculty at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, primarily teaching econometrics and business analytics.

My teaching specialties include micro and macro theory, econometrics, industrial organization, and game theory. My research interests include applied econometrics, innovation, economics education, and sports.

I also serve as Vice President of USD's Phi Beta Kappa chapter and as the economics major coordinator.
