The Club Coach is James Brobin who has put together a coaching programme that will meet the club vision, and his aim is to get more people playing tennis, and then we will have a greater chance of finding and tutoring more Tim Henmans, Andy Murrays (World No 4 ) and Laura Robsons (Junior Wimbledon Champion 2008)
Tennis clubs are once again the heartbeat of British Tennis thanks to the drive and directives of the Lawn Tennis Association. James is here to implement these directives and provide the Club Coaching and Match Play Programmes that are required; he is already a well established, experienced and respected coach in Cornwall.
Juniors - Where to start?
Saturdays 09.45 to 11.00 Junior Elite ( invitation and enrolment only, Rating 8.2+)
10.15 to 11.00 Mini Tennis* ( 6yrs+ First step into tennis) 11.00 to 12.00 Junior Aces (LTA ratings developed with coaching) 11.00 to 12.00 Mini Tennis* (the next stage, on ability) 12.00 to 12.45 Junior Improvers (LTA ratings and starter competitions) 12.00 to 1300 Mini Tennis* ( long court, on ability) Adult Coaching:
Tuesdays: 12.30 to 13.45 Drop in Tennis Clinic. (Intermediate/Advanced) Fridays: 09.30 to 10.30 Drop in Tennis Clinic (Beginners)

The Junior Davis Cup
This will occur on the First Saturday of every even calender month throughout the year, e.g. Feb; Apr; Jun; Aug; Oct; Dec. The Junior Davis Cup will take centre stage, allowing all players in Full Court Tennis to compete. All players are expected to sign in at 09.30 for registration and team allocation. The event will finish at 12.30. Juniors will be in teams of 4 or more and be given a country to represent for that day, competing against other countries in a round robin format; each player will be graded according to their ability. Each match will consist of one singles and possibly one doubles plus a special event. At the end of the year awards will be given to all juniors that have represented the winning country and a cup to the individual that has scored the most points.
