Fosebe is an educational tool for manding languages.
Fosebe, meaning dictation in Bamanankan language, (Bamanankan is the most spoken manding language) is a virtual typing school intended to improve user's typing ability with the N'KO keyboard. Fosebe is also intended to improve user's orthographies and tonal diacritic marques recognition.The manding languages are spoken in several countries and include: Mandinka, Soninke, Bambara, Bissa, Dioula, Kagoro, Bozo, Mende, Susu, Yacouba, Vai, and Ligbi. The population includes millions of speakers, chiefly in The Gambia, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea-Bissau and Mali. This linguistic group is a divergent branch of the Niger-Congo family

Fosebe comes with three diplomas by default, beginner, intermediary and avanced, every user has to suscribe to one diploma. The Diplomas has several courses or academic years. To pass one academic year user has to pass all the dictations of this academic year. The dIctations into a course are organized by dificulty order and application will decide which dictation the user must to pass.

Multi users, every user has to be registered in Fosebe to be able to open and close a session with his username and password. .
Easy to matain: new diplomas with more dictation could be installed easily in your system with the diploma assistant. For launching diploma assistant, click onto tools->load new diploma from the main menu. Diplomas could been downloaded form Fosebe's Web page, the diplomas have different objectives, there are diplomas intended to improve typing speed, to improve orthographic, to improve tonal diacritic marque recognition.... Information about each diploma could be displayed from the main menu by clicking on tools->show all diplomas.
