Ready, Willing, & Able

I've found a special sense of community here in Newburyport; I'm vested in the future of the City and its prosperity.  

I've spent years studying many of the challenges Newburyport is facing today—zoning and land use issues, environmental conservation, hazardous waste problems, and economic development.   I'm eager to apply my skills and experience.  As a city councilor, I will devote the time and focus necessary to be informed and prepared—ready to address complex issues and able to handle the inevitable new challenges.   I'll make decisions based on Newburyport's best interest—the interests of the people who live and work here—not private or political interests.  

Ensuring the City's ordinances provide for the protection of Newburyport's natural and historical environment is key.   Encouraging economic development that improves residents' quality of life is the best strategy for protecting the resources that make Newburyport special all the while

 increasing revenue generation.
