Fundraising is a necessary evil; baseball is a very expensive sport, and no money is budgeted by Von for sports. Breakdown of cost is below the Parent Night Info. Silent Auction and Split-the-Pot. $5 from every entrance ticket redeemed with your name on it will go towards your player fee! Included in that $400 is the Von Steuben Athletic Fee of $100 ($100 is for the first sport, it is $25 for each additional sport). Baseball fee must be paid in full to receive gear. Due dates: March 13th for Varsity and Sophomore players (first game March 17), March 19th for Freshman (first game March 20).
Team Helmet ($35) Any player can purchase any of the above items regardless of their level at the prices listed above. *Additional Team Fee Money goes to NEIU for field usage ($5,000) *Umpire Fees *Equipment Needs TV Raffle: LG 42" LCD HD flat screen TV. Tickets are $1each. Each player must sell a minimum of 25. Players should ask for cell #s of the buyers and include their own initials on the tickets to help track the winner if necessary.
