The NWCVF was established in 2007 by a multidisciplinary gathering of voice professionals and health practitioners. The purpose of the group is to promote and enhance voice education, healthy voice practices, and an open dialogue and improved understanding among voice-related professionals within and around the area of the Pacific Northwest. The group is an official chapter of the Voice Foundation. While we encourage membership in the Voice Foundation, you do not have to be a VF member to attend our meetings. The NWCVF meets on the 2nd Monday of every other month (Feb/Apr/June/Aug/Oct/Dec). We currently meet in Room 211, Eagleson Hall in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington. The department is located on the corner of NE 42nd St. and 15th Ave NE in Seattle, Washington. Street parking is available; there also is a parking lot on 15th Ave NE.
PLEASE NOTE: For the next meeting (Dec 13th), we will be meeting in the music building on the UW Campus, Room 213. You will need to pay to park ($5-$10) if you decide to use one of the UW parking lots.
Meeting Agenda: 6:30-7pm: Business Meeting 7:00-8:30pm: Discussion The next upcoming meeting will be on Monday December 13th. We are featuring Dr. Kari Ragan, who will demonstrate what is involved in a typical singing voice lesson. Please come and join in the fun! |
