PLAYERS IN ACTION: Phillies greats Ryan Howard and Shane Victorino visited our Eleanor Corbett House near Glassboro NJ on May 26 as part of an "Action Team" event sponsored by the Major League Players Trust and Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. Action Team members from West Deptford High School, Gloucester Catholic High School and the Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter High School, along with youngsters from the community and from Eleanor Corbett House, got to meet the players during the "Healthy Family Fun Fair" event. Late in the day, Action Team members took to the field at Citizens Bank Park prior to the start of the Phillies-Marlins game and were honored by players - including Action Team supporter Jimmy Rollins - and fans alike.
