
In 1984y, his father Nayden Gantchev / who was a luthier / enrolled him to study violin at the State Musical Academy "Pantcho Vladigerov" in Sofia, by Prof. Valentin Choparinow, and Prof. Elissaveta Kazakova, for 4 yaers, and at the same time he studied solfeggio with the compouser Emil Mirchev.
In 1987y. his father died. He enrolled in the violin-class of Snejina Pancheva at the "School on Music and Arts- AURA". At the age of nine he began to study Symphonic Conducting with a Student from the class by
Prof. Vassil Kazandjiev, and after a while he started studying Choir Conducting as well. Later he continued his studies in different ways, including on his own.
In 1992y. he was admitted to the State Musical School "Dobrin Petkov", Plovdiv in the viola class of Mrs. Stoyka Staneva. There he also studied conducting Choir with Mrs. Tzvetana Vassilkova and soon he became her assistant, and gave Concerts with the School Choirs.
In 1995y. he moved to the National Music School "Lubomir Pipkov", Sofia and the same time he studied Viola with Prof. Ognyan Stanchev in the State Musical Academiy - "Pancho Vladigerov", as well as conducting in the Theoretical class and Composition with Prof.Alexander Raychev / at the state Academy /.
There he was invited to be conductor of the School Brass Band /in 1996y. /
In 1997y. he graduated from the Musical School"Lubomir Pipkov"-Sofia, specialize Viola and Theoretical Department.
In 1998y. he was admitted to the "State Academy for Musical and Dance Art", Plovdiv.
There he studied Viola with Mr. Georgy Naydenov, Choir and Symphony Conducting with Prof. Emil Yanev, and Composition /facultative/ with Prof. Dimitar Tapkov. In his Academy he was repeatedly appointed as a conductor of mixed, homogenous, chamber choirs /Choir- mixed- 100 persons; homogenous- 40-60; chamber-30 persons/and has been conductor of the Academic Accordion Orchestra.
Two years later / 2000y / he moved to Sofia and was admitted to The National Academy of Music -"Pancho Vladigerov",Sofia city, Bulgaria in the Theoretical-Composition-Conducting Faculty in the specialization of :

In 2006y. Vladimir Gantchev Conducted Concert under the auspices of Cyprus Embassy.
In 2006y. Vladimir Gantchev been invites to be Conductor of State Chamber Opera-Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.
In 2007y. Vladimir Ganthcev have debut with Blagoevgrad State Opera on Stara Zagora International Opera Festival.
In 2008y. Vladimir Gantchev had been invited to be guest Conductor of State Philharmonic Schumen.
In 2008 Vladimir Gantchev had been invited to be guest conductor of the State Philharmonic Rousse.
In 2009 Vladimir Gantchev had been invited to be guest conductor of the State Philharmonic Pazardjik.

Vladimir Gantchev had been invites to be honorary Professor by Symphonic Conducting speciality in Sofia University, Sofia- Bulgaria in 2006y, and he is Principal Conductor of Youth Symphony Strings Orchestra. Vladimir Gantchev was repeatedly appointed as a conductor of mixed, homogenous, chamber choirs, Symphony and Chamber Orchestra in Bulgaria.
Vladimir Gantchev had been invited by Maestro Herbert Blomstedt principal Conductor in Gewandhaus-Leipzig / 2002y - 2005.,/summer season/ for professional exchange of experience/.
Vladimir Gantchev recorded more than 10 CD-s / Living records for himself, and Musical Academy Archive, Living Records with National TV "SKAT", "BBT" and "7 Dni" with State Academical Symphony Orchestra with famous Soloist in Bulgaria for the lasts years.
