Thank you for your interest in the Peninsula Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists!
We have stopped accepting applications for our fourth cohort of Master Naturalist Basic Training, held in Spring of 2012.
The 13 week course is being held from 6-9 pm on Wednesday evenings, February 29 through May 23, 2012. Mandatory Saturday field trips are tenatively scheduled for March 24, April 14, April 28, and May 19. See attachment below for the current version of the schedule.

Training class cost is $150.00* plus additional cost related to field trips (food, carpooling, etc).
DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT WITH YOUR APPLICATION. If you are accepted into the program, you will be notified before the start of classes
. You can then send half of the course fee ($75.00 payable by check or money order) along with a letter of
acceptance indicating your commitment to complete both the traning course and the volunteer
requirements (40 hours annually) necessary to become a Master Naturalist. If we do not receive a written
acceptance and payment, your place in the class may be offered to another applicant. The remainder of your course fee
must be paid before the start of the course.
