Lindsey has earned period two’s Student of the Month award for January. She is a caring individual who is willing to help others practice their ASL. She is friendly to everyone and has a positive attitude. She is a marvelous signer, as well, and always does a fantastic job on tests—she earned one of the highest grades on the final in both of my classes. Way to go, girl!

 Period six’s January ASL Student of the Month award goes to Hannah. Hannah follows our classroom’s voice-off rule better than anyone else. I can depend on her to always be organized, paying attention, and understanding what I’m signing. Her little drawings and notes she leaves behind on her participation points sheet or quizzes crack me up. Overall, Hannah tends to brighten my day. Thank you!

If you want to be prepared for this quiz, please practice your family tree signs. There will be an interpreting section that is cumulative (as always), but the rest of the the quiz is identifying relatives and determining whether to use NOT or NONE when responding to a question negatively. We'll have some time to study in class before taking the quiz.
