This presentation was accepted and presented at the 2007 JavaOne conference in San Francisco, CA. This presentation shows how to easily insert runtime manageability,
configuration, and control into your application by using JMX, Spring,
and AOP. The topics covered show how to create applications that can
automatically react and take actions based on internal or external
state changes. It looks at best practices for architecting scalable and
maintainable management services by using sound OO approaches.
The presentation has since evolved and refined and presented at the NFJS software symposium series. Ideas from the presentation was the inspiration for creating the Groovy JmxBuilder open source tool.
