We hope you can share this information with a local school... In this document is a lot of info that might be shown to a principal/headmaster. We'd like to train teachers with a series of workshops or lectures.
We have started a consulting group called Visual and Active -- the techniques of the vibrant tutor need to be expanded and brought into the classroom. In the USA, we offer to give a course or mini workshop in "How to use the Internet in the classroom" and there will be teachers who are "technophobes" who ask for our help in these topics:

We are visual and active teachers. We are available to train other teachers in a "revolutionary" way of teaching. Actually, it is the old style of teaching. It's called "Ask the student what he wants to learn, then teach that subject (by asking the student to discover and explore what he wants to learn), guide him with questions, and then check the student's understanding, not by writing but by asking him to talk about it." It is an old way of teaching and it means the teacher is a facilitator.
Some teachers fear this method. "It's too much work," they tell us. "I have to have 25 plans, one for each student." Yes, it is more work, and yet it is easier for some teachers because the work becomes joyful and more interesting.
We invite you to watch a video about a remarkable school (Search on youtube for “Dennis Littky Small School.”) Many of the techniques that I use are also used at that school. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEgTB1tuKkM If you sit with a good teacher and listen to her tell stories, that's the way to learn. She asks questions, she answers questions, she entices you with another story and the learning continues. That's the way we have organized the "Visual and Active" method of teaching and training. Our group has several training workshops – and we can present information to your teachers about other learning methods (tell us what you want to communicate and we will create a workshop to meet your needs). We hope someday to charge for this course, but for now we need to gather feedback and make the workshop well-known.
There is no charge for the workshop at present. We ask some assistance with the cost of housing the workshop leaders, some food would be nice and compensation for the DVDs and CDs that we give at the workshop. It will be nice if the participants can be paid for their time spent listening to us.
We are on youtube and we encourage you to share this information with other teachers and principals/headmasters and parents. I also provide FOLLOWUP by Skype or Email to find out how the procedures are being implemented. You can learn more by going to www.visualandactive.com
ACTION REQUESTED: Please pass this email message to a principal or a teacher. We believe this method can provide valuable new procedures for many schools and many subjects. We have worksheets and quotations to help people become better teachers and consumers of education.

In short, we are available to visit a school and give a presentation to teachers, parents, students, almost any audience.
Wherever we travel, we carry our CDs and DVDs, each associated with the topics listed above. We also give talks centered around the quotes that are listed on www.visualandactive.com ("readings"). We are looking for invitations to speak. We will pay for our air flight, traveling and teaching/speaking, and we need to video record our talks and the interactions. Then we can post on our website that we traveled to India or California or Italy to give training sessions. If we can sleep on a couch, that would be great and keep our costs down. We are thinking of ways to build our reputations as trainers and advocates of active methods in and outside the classroom. We want to introduce ebooks -- 201 ebooks on one CD and every student gets to take one home.
Can you arrange for an invitation to a school in your city? That's our dream. We are ready to travel – please help us get invitations to speak.

Will delivers motivational face to face professional guidance which empowers you to employ your current experience levels, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics to achieve your goals. He will prove to you that:
“You are more qualified than you think you are!”
If you are looking for employment, or a career change, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity to invest in yourself and your future. The current recession, higher costs of living, credit crunches, and general down turn in the employment market means that competition for jobs is getting fierce. You cannot afford to be using a below par CV, Resume or cover letter when applying for the position you have set your heart on.
“There is the right position out there for you… “
We have to find it and together we can ensure you make the strongest application possible to maximise your chances of being happily employed. Although we work with agencies we feel leaving your future in the hands of an agency is like taking part in the National Lottery or Euro Lotto. The seminar on 1st November at the Birch Hotel Haywards Heath will reveal the hard facts and truths about “finding the job you really want”. The explanations of the systems and tasks you need to use and complete, lead into the workshop sessions. You are straight into, a hands on, practical situation and making the first steps on the journey to that Perfect CV, Resume and Cover Letter. From now on filling in online CVs and applications is going to be a very quick cut and paste job.
“Every journey starts with the first step” – Old Chinese saying.
Will Sutherland will introduce you to the process and the 10 paramount objectives on the path towards achieving your aim. Discussion groups, question and answer sessions, and spontaneous response exercises build the self portrait you are committing to paper.
“No task is too great if you break it down into smaller ones…”
Every task comes with full explanation and action guidance notes, which when followed guarantee excellent results and a wealth of knowledge about yourself, your qualities, your abilities, and your self confidence. By the end of the day you will have the answers to those difficult questions that keep taking you round and round in your head. Such as: Where am I going? What do I do next? Why do I want that job? Who is going to employ me? How do I write my CV? What should be in my CV? What does my Resume look like? How do I make them look better? How do I make them more powerful? How do I make a good impression at interview? How much money and what benefits can I ask for?
You will have a support network and the opportunity to access follow up support in the weeks to come. Your will be on the road to that perfect CV and the job you really want! You will have a completely different mindset and the self confidence to breeze through any interview and apply for any job.
