This dynamic workshop motivates teachers and guides them to include visual and active methods in their lessons.  The workshop lasts 45 minutes, 90 minutes or a half-day. Free DVDs included

Frequently Asked Questions
Before the workshop:  teachers read the "readings" page on my website

During the workshop
1.  Welcome and the reading of "the five questions"
2.  Participants stand and paraphrase two of their favorite quotes and describe their feelings about the quote and tell the group "one new procedure that I will bring to my classroom to inject the spirit of the quote" into the classwork.
3.  Suggestions about "how to put these quotes into action" are written on a sheet.
4.  The compiled sheet is emailed to VisualandActive@gmail.com for follow-up

The workshop can take as little as 30 minutes or as long as 90 minutes, depending on the amount of material the staff has consumed (if they visit the website ahead of time and watch the two 10-minute videos, then they are able to complete the workshop more quickly.)

Followup
within 7 days of the course, each participant receives an email message (from VAA) and/or a phone call (according to the wishes of the participant) asking about the implementation of the suggestions.
within 30 days of the course, a second call and/or email checks on progress.
