Vision Sales Services is a specialist consultancy helping clients with the recruitment and training of sales people. One of our current clients is a a leading provider in their field, they are well established with an excellent reputation along with a Queens Award for Export.
They sell engineering equipment to Quarries, Mines, Aggregate, Recycling and Bulk Handling companies. The equipment consists of conveyors, screening systems, hoppers, crushers etc and can range from tens to hundreds of thousands of pounds for a complete plant system.
They are now looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager or Sales Engineer based anywhere in the country to maintain existing accounts and win new business. You should have experience in the longer sales cycle, selling high value capital equipment with an engineering, mechanical, process or bulk handling bias preferably with experience in selling to quarry and mining companies. You also need a full driving license.
The package includes a basic of up to £40,000 depending on experience with realistic OTE of £65,000+ also included is a company car plus normal benefits.

One of our current clients is a leading provider of health and safety products such as specialised flooring, spill control and other work place safety products. They are part of a multi million pound group with an excellent brand and reputation.
Based near the eastern side of the M4 corridor (Reading/Bracknell etc) they are now looking for a Field Sales Executive to win and manage new business from corporate customers. Selling to Health and Safety Managers, Plant Managers and Maintenance Managers it will be your job to grow revenues from your area. This is a home based role but the majority of your time will be based out on the road visiting new and existing customers. The products they sell are essential items that prospect customers will have a legal requirement to have. The products are typically sold to engineering, oil, chemical, process, production and manufacturing industries.

One of our current clients is a leading manufacturer and provider of gifts and decorative accessories to visitor centres, historical sites, castles, stately homes, museums and exclusive gift shops world-wide. They provide items such as jewellery, paper weights, figurines and gifts to places like Warwick Castle, Globe Theatre, Sea Life Centres, National Trust properties and Museums to sell through their gift/visitor shops.
They are now looking for an Area Sales Executive to manage a large part of the East of the country covering Yorkshire, East Midlands, Anglia and the South East (excluding London). There are 350 existing accounts which need to be managed and encouraged to increase spend from taking new lines and up selling/cross selling. There is an element of new business generation and the split is probably 80/20 account management to new business sales.
Most of your time will be spent out on the road with maybe one day a week at home working on admin etc or from the offices in Birmingham. You need to live within an hours travelling time of Birmingham.
The ideal person they require is someone who is looking to move into their second field sales role with at least one years experience selling out on the road. As the area is extensive you need to be comfortable driving (you will be responsible for your own territory management) doing approx 4 pre appointed calls a day. An interest in history, archaeology, british battlefields etc would be beneficial but by no means neccessary.
You need to have a good education, be communicative, personable and friendly with a full clean driving license.

One of our current clients is a leading company that calibrates electrical and mechanical equipment for many different types of businesses from building maintenance to aerospace and transportation. They provide calibration and repair of electrical, temperature, humidity, RF/Microwave and dimensional measuring instruments. They are now looking for a Calibration Sales Engineer, someone who can calibrate equipment and also develop new sales from existing and new customers.
MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
This position has two main areas of focus. To enable them to offer a calibration service to existing customers in the Southern region of the country and also find new business from known leads or new leads in the area.
1.) With assistance (when required) from the main laboratory calibrate the instruments of customers in the South either at Head Office base or at the customers premises, (3 days a week)
