Hodgkins Lymphoma

Hodgkin's lymphoma affects women somewhat less often than men.  Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL), also known as Hodgkin's disease, is a less common form of lymphoma that arises from an abnormal lymphocyte.  About 7,350 new cases of Hodgkin's disease will be diagnosed in the United States this year.  T-cell lymphomas represent less than 15% of non-Hodgkin lymphomas in the United States.  It has also become very useful in helping doctors determine the exact type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma so that they can select the best treatment.
