In the event of heavy snowfalls, building emergencies, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other severe weather conditions, the center may open or remain open for as long as safety permits.  As a general rule, VSEL will follow the Downingtown Area School District in regards to school closings due to inclement weather.  If the School District is operating on a one-hour delay we will open at 8:00AM.  If the school district is operating on a two-hour delay we will open at 9:00AM.  Full tuition is due for weeks in which emergency conditions require the center to close.

3. Call VSEL at 610-458-1140 for voice mail update

For the safety of both the children and staff, VSEL management reserves the right to open or close the center at its own discretion.
