V.C.A. participates in athletic events with other Christian schools. Events are available for both boys and girls, with written consent from the parents or guardian of each student. Parents are expected to provide evidence of the fitness of their child by getting a physical from an Medical Doctor.
All students are eligible for sports and extracurricular activities the first two weeks of the school year. After that time an "A" privilege status must be maintained for eligibility.
A student will forfeit participation in athletics for unchristian behavior or attitude, failure to meet academic requirements, as well as other VCA standards.
Sports at VCA include basketball and volleyball, track & Field events. VCA hopes to expand into other areas as interest and numbers of participants increase.
VCA particpates in Regional and International student Conventions where athletic competitions are included. |
