Village Outreach Society

proudly supporting families and villages since the Tsunami disaster of 26 December 2004

Our mission statements

Governed by Canadian and UK charity commissions Village Outreach Society (VOS) has seperate mission statements.

VOS Canada is dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for the long-term rehabilitation of small villages in developing nations affected by poverty and/or natural disasters. VOS UK supports poor rural Dalit communities who missed out on post-Tsunami aid in South India.

VOS Canada and VOS UK jointly support school and community projects. More...

What makes our charity unique?

VOS is unique in that we five trustees, offer our time and skills voluntarily to realise the charity’s mission. We incur mininal expense travelling to India, to work directly with the village leaders and residents to ensure that the money you donate goes to those who need it most. We
have helped develop sustainable businesses, assisted schools with basic needs and continue to support community projects that have the greatest impact on day to day life.
