Lego Robotics Challenge

About the Project

A few years ago, building upon existing robotics projects in our curriculum, Jayme Johnson and Adrienne Coffield decided to pair up on a collaborative robotics project.

Teams of students at our respective schools would work toward meeting identical challenges and collaborate with each other via an e-Pals blog, skype/ichat, and face to face meetings. In addition to the collaboration, individual teams set goals, document their progress via photographs and blog entries, and reflect upon their progress.

Brawerman uses the LEGO NXT sets and programs using the included software. Village uses the LEGO NXT sets and programs using Microworlds Robotics EX.
