Vikki and Dougs Wedding

The Ceremony

The ceremony was at 11:30 am at the Chapel at the Inn at Villa Bianca.  It was such a
gorgeous day, and everything turned out beautiful. We were so lucky.

Our Ceremony.

Declaration of Intent. (Hand Ceremony)

Victoria hold Douglas' hands, palms up, so that you may see the gift that they are to you. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These are the hands that will comfort you in illness and hold you when fear or grief fills you. These are the hands that will give you support and celebrate with you in your accomplishments. Victoria, do you take Douglas to be your husband, and promise to love, comfort, cherish and encourage him forever?

Victoria: I do.

with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you.

Readings

1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8a

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.
