Home of the Spartanburg High School
Viking Band The Spartanburg High School Viking Band is one of the oldest bands in South Carolina and is filled with a tradition of excellence. The goal of our program is to instill a strong work ethic in our students, as we are always in the pursuit of perfection. We create an environment which centers around the enrichment that music brings into our lives. Students in the band program have the opportunity to participate in numerous ensembles, including the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Chamber Ensembles, and the Guard.
