Introduction:
It is my current project based on Atmel's AT91SAM9260, an ARM926EJ based controller capable of running Linux or WIndows CE.
The board is a complete multimedia development platform with Ethernet, Stereo Audio CODEC, Colour Display and user interface.

  3. 2Gb NAND Flash (Provision for both 8-bit & 16-bit Flash Memory interface)
  4. 32 Mb Atmel Serial DataFlash
  5. 4 Kb I2C EEPROM
  6. 100 Mb/s Ethernet
  7. Stereo Audio Interface with Head Phone Out, Line Out, Line In, Microphone In
  8. PS2 socket for PC/AT Keyboard Interface
  9. SD / MMC Card Interface
  10. 132 x 132 pixel colour LCD display
  11. 20-pin standard JTAG programming & debugging interface
  12. 1-USB Host connection
  13. 1-USB Device connection
  14. 3-RS232 Serial Interfaces (one supports complete MODEM interface)
  15. 4-User keys for complete menu access. (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, MENU_OK keys)
  16. Single Power supply of 6.5 to 12V AC / DC required. (On board rectifier and regulator for 5V, 3.3V & 1.8V)
  17. PCB: 4 layer with FR4 material, Dimensions: 120 x 150 sq. mm (approx.)

Project Status:
[7th Jun '08]: Circuit design started.
[30th July '08] All components purchased.
[1st Sep '08]: Schematic entry completed and PCB design started.
[15th Dec '08]: PCB Layout complete. Sent for manufacturing.
[21st Dec '08]: Boards Received.
[2nd Jan '09]: One Board assembled completely.
[10th Jan '09]: All memory test successfully completed. :-)
