Ownage Gestures is an application that lets you perform certain common Windows OS functions through a mouse gesture.

System Requirements

A PC whose OS is either Windows XP or Vista and a 3 button mouse.

Tutorial

Hold the trigger mouse button (default middle click) to start gesture recording. Then move the mouse freely and release the trigger to complete gesture recording. The mouse movement from the start to the end of the trigger will be recorded and converted into a sequence of directions.

- L (Left)
- R (Right)
- U (Up)
- D (Down)

If the gesture performed matches any of the patterns the application recognizes, the associated action will be performed.

Known Issues

• Since a few windows may have a hierarchy of parent and child windows (example: a web browser window with a lot of open tabs and a few associated pop up windows), the close operation on such windows might not work as expected. Application will either fail to close such a window or in other cases will close all parent and child windows (example: multiple word documents open).
• Some windows might not minimize correctly (example: Google talk).
