Registration Fee
The registration fee is used to pay Softball BC insurance and development fees and helps to cover umpire costs, equipment costs and is seed money to help the park run. Most of the revenue to run the park comes from the concession.
Concession Deposit - Mite and Older (recoverable)
The $50 concession fee will be collected at time of registration. When your shifts have been completed the concession manager will refund your money. We have implemented this policy to deal with people who were no-shows for their shifts. Please let the concession manager know you're expecting a refund when notified of your shift. If you are new to Softball BC, you will recieve this at the time of registration. It is part of our registration fee You can't play without being registered with Softball BC!
Uniform Deposit (recoverable)
The $50 cheque will be postdated until Aug 1 and will be returned when the CLEAN uniform is returned.
Online Registration Note:
A processing fee is charged by Active.com for each online registration. The park does not keep this money, it is a fee charged by Active for the use of their system, in 2012 this fee will be absorbed as part of the registration fee and will not show up as an additional charge.
