Happy New Year! The
Viet-Sun Foundation brings in the New Year with a brand new website
with an all new look just for you! Visit often or miss out on a whole
bunch of new surprises waiting for you this year!
"It's
never too late to donate!" You can still help us bring in an especially
special new year with your support. Any amount of contribution may be
enough to send a poor village child to school next year! A special
thanks to those who donated to us this holiday season. Your compassion
and support is greatly appreciated.
The Viet-Sun Foundation's website is always going through technical and visual updates. We thank you for bearing with us during our construction and updating process. Please visit us often! We may have a few surprises in store for you all! We are adding a "Culture" section that will debut this year. It will feature pictures of the beautiful landscapes Vietnam has to offer and the scenic sights of life in Vietnam from the villages to the cities! It will be as if you are physically journeying through the fields, villages, and cities of Vietnam. Stay tuned!
'Tis the Season of Giving! Open your heart to those out there who are less fortunate. The Viet-Sun Foundation is always open to contributions and donations throughout the year. If you're feeling a little jolly with some spare change in your pocket or a couple of dollars, please "Don't hesitate to donate!" The Viet-Sun Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization. Amounts as little as $20 can send a student to school. Happy Holidays and best wishes for a Happy New Year!
We are still raising funds year round in order to pay for these students' education. Recently, we have cashed in a significant amount of empty cans and bottles we collected throughout the Fall at a redemption center in town to raise funds for academic scholarships to poor village children.
This past Fall the Board of Directors have been busy assessing the incoming applications that have come in from August and September. This Fall, we are proud to announce that we have sent twelve more students to school through academic scholarships! These children have proven to us that they have a will to learn and a strong desire to obtain an education.Fall
The Viet-Sun Foundation teams up with Amway Global

Summer
President and Co-Founder, Jeremy Bui, has spent a majority of his summer serving the nation, working for the United States Senate. He has spread awareness of his cause while diligently working for one of our nation's most influential senators!
Our Chairman, Timothy Bui, has graduated from the University of Connecticut. He is currently attending Medical School in New York City! Good Luck, Tim! He is still in consistent contact with the Foundation throughout his studies in the Big Apple.
The Viet-Sun Foundation has benefited from generous contributions from communities throughout Connecticut for our seasonal Can and Bottle Recycling Drive!
The Happy Time Preschool makes contact with a school in Vietnam in forming a cultural exchange between the United States and Vietnam. In hopes for a sister school relationship to form, both schools have been communicating through words of friendship and by sending pictures of their daily activities!
