Firstly don't forget to hand in entries for the club video competition, hand them to Horst and remember a separate entry form for each Video.
With all the hype about high definition TV coming, many questions need answers, eg. can we edit on our existing equipment from a H.D. Camera? Andre Nel has been delving deeply into the subject and will be going us a talk on "understanding H.D. TV" think about questions you would like to ask.
Aiden will be giving us some insight into how he made the macro video of the Model Trains.
Andre du Toit will be giving us a talk on categorizing background music and showing us the DVD's that members gave him to see what music he would match to them.

30th July 2008 Videography West Rand was 10 years old. As a founder member and in recognition of all the support Sjaas Reyneke had given the club over the years honorary membership was confered on him. The certificate in recognition of this was handed to him by currently active co-founder member Chris Stulting.
16 July 2008 Ian McNaughton will present the 2nd part of his talk on "Event & Wedding Videography" (see Tutorials) We will also be looking at a National Geographic Video and discuss how it was made.
Don't forget to bring your "homework" on "Making a video to suit a selected piece of music."
18 June 2008 Ian McNaughton has put together a comprehensive presentation on "Event and Wedding Video Photography" backed by visual still & video clips. (see Tutorials) Arnold Putter's show on butterflies is also on the programme for the evening.
