Under-8s play area results

posted 28 Mar 2011 09:30 by Claire Fenwick   [ updated 10 May 2011 02:24 ]

VPAG carried out a consultation exercise in the last two weeks of April 2011 to find out what people thought about the Under-8s Play Area near the Park Lodge. A previous consultation in 2007 had indicated that there was a need for it to be extended and improved.

The 2011 consultation took the form of a questionnaire that was available for completion at Mrs Brown’s Café in the park. Posters were displayed showing two possible design options for an improved play area, along with pictures of a range of play equipment for people to indicate their preferences.

The consultation was advertised through posters in the park, on the VPAG website, and by emailing all VPAG members. A total of 216 questionnaires were completed. For the results and full report please view the attached document.
