Doula Services and Fee

The initial interview is free of charge and without obligation.

Should you decide to hire me, we will schedule at least two prenatal meetings to become acquainted, to explore and discuss your priorities and any fears or concerns, to discuss your birth preferences and to review comfort measures.  In addition, I am available to answer questions by telephone, text or email.

When you think labour might be starting, I can provide support and advice over the phone. I join you when you begin to need in-person support. I remain with you throughout your labour and birth, and for about two hours after your baby is born.

For two weeks after the birth, I am available on-call by telephone to answer questions about the birth, breastfeeding, or care of your baby. I will meet with you and your partner at least once during this period to see how you and your baby are doing, to provide assistance and resources, to review the birth, and to get feedback from you about my role. I will write up a brief birth story and email it to you within two weeks of the birth.
